Apapronominal, also called Casspronominal or Pronoun Indifferent, also called Apapronomial or Casspronomial, is a term that refers to an individual who is indifferent towards what pronouns others use for them.[1][2][3] They may not have a set of preferred pronouns and will let others use whatever pronouns they want for them.[4][5]
History
It is unknown when the terms were coined; however, the terms were used by Tumblr user Beyond MOGAI Pride Flags in the year 2019.[1]
Flags & Symbols
The apapronominal flag was created by LGBTA Wiki user Cryptocrew on November 12, 2020. The red represents pronouns, the dark brown represents in-home pronoun use, the light brown represents outside pronoun use, and the yellowish-brown represents online pronoun use. The word bubble represents using pronouns in conversation and the black line represents indifference.[6][7]
