Aromantic-Asexual, often shortened to Aroace, Aro/Ace or Ace/Aro, is a term that described someone who experiences little to no romantic and sexual attraction.[1][2][3] This does not mean that one is strictly asexual and aromantic, one may fall on different places on either spectrum.[4]
Someone who is aroace may prioritize forming close attachments to friends instead of having romantic or sexual relationships.[3] Others may enter romantic relationships and have sex. Some may prefer a queerplatonic relationship.[4]
Aroace is considered an umbrella term for those on the aroace spectrum.[5]
