Cisgender Hetero, often shortened to Cishet, is a combination identity that describes someone who is both cisgender and hetero-oriented.[1] This means that the individual identifies with their assigned gender at birth and are attracted to those of the opposite and/or dissimilar gender.[2]

Controversy
There is debate on what constitutes someone being cishet and whether individuals can identify as queer or not. Some may consider heteroromantic asexual individuals or aromantic heterosexual individuals to be cishet, while others view them as inherently queer. This debate also extends to those who are cisgender and heterosexual, but are also intersex, polyamorous and/or gender non-conforming.[4]
