    Woman, also known as Lady, is a term used to describe an individual who identifies as a woman, regardless of their assigned gender at birth.[1][2] The term Girl is also used, usually to describe a younger woman.[3]

    Flags & Symbols

    The woman flag was created by Tumblr user Trintinic. The dark pink represents binary woman, the light pink represents those who identify partially as women, and the white represents multigender individuals who include woman in their identity.[4]

    The Venus symbol is usually used to represent women or femininity.[5]

    Perceptions and Discrimination

    Women, and even those who are simply perceived as women, are often subjected to misogynistic discrimination.[6]
